Hi there, I'm Brittany! đź‘‹

Doctor of Physical Therapy, pediatric PT for over a decade, and mama to three little ones who’ve each taught me something different about milestones.

I'm A parent, just like you

My first baby was a motor milestone master—rolling, crawling, and walking right on time (sometimes even early). Honestly, she probably would have done that whether or not her mom was a physical therapist.

But my second baby? His journey looked very different. He was much slower to meet milestones and needed additional PT support to finally get crawling. And here’s the humbling part: even as a pediatric PT, doing all the right things, he still needed extra help that I couldn’t give alone. I wrestled with the guilt—am I not good enough at this? Am I missing something? The truth was, he just needed more support, and that was okay.

With the right interventions, he made beautiful progress. And because I knew what milestones to look for and how to set up his environment, I also knew when something wasn’t right—and when to ask for help.

By the time my third baby was slower to crawl too, I felt prepared. Instead of panicking, I leaned into what I now teach other parents: create opportunities for progress, trust your baby’s timeline, and enjoy the journey.

That’s the heart of my work today. What I learned with my own kids is the same clarity, connection, and confidence I now teach other moms:
  • Understand what your baby is doing and why, so you can stop second-guessing yourself.
  • Know how to play with your baby in ways that actually support growth (and make it fun!).
  • Trust your baby’s timeline and feel assured that you’re guiding them exactly as they need.

Because every baby deserves to thrive, and every mom deserves to feel confident and supported along the way.

I believe all parents deserve to feel equipped, empowered and to be confident caregivers!

When I'm not creating new resources for you or meeting one-on-one to support my amazing clients, I'm likely spending time with my three kiddos, Ellie, Harrison, and Hudson. When they are sleeping, my husband and I love to binge watch Survivor, documentaries, and game shows. We also love to eat all the Mexican food and enjoy escape rooms.

Before becoming a parent myself, I graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 from Arkansas State University. I had several wonderful mentors that helped me know that pediatrics was my calling and my passion. I have been a pediatric PT since I graduated and have served children of all ages and abilities!

Now, that I have three little ones myself, I know first hand what you're feeling. I want to eliminate the mom guilt (you're likely feeling) that can surround so much of the developmental world and show parents that the best way to teach their child motor skills is through simple play and time spent together! I want to provide you with professional tips balanced with practical tools. I understand the pressure of being a mom and also being your child's therapist, and I want you to take the pressure off of yourself and know you are the best best parent for their child!
